We are a Michigan based Creative Fabrication Company. We specialize in providing Themed Environments, Wine Caves, Man Caves, Foam Prop Sculpting, Custom Woodworking, Faux Brick and Stonework, Trade and Exhibit Displays.
Our Story
Shaping Nature was visioned through the talents of Fred Dove. His love for Art began at a very young age. As a young man he developed his style of drawing and painting. He discovered that he had a love for building and sculpting miniature pieces for the town scenes of his Lionel Trains, and creating various items for school plays.
His professional career started as a carpenter. Beginning as an apprentice, after years of building homes and commercial projects, gaining valuable knowledge and experience. Working as a Union Carpenter in the Auto Show industry for most of his career, he went on to become a Master Carpenter.
Years later an opportunity arose when Michigan provided incentives for the Movie Industry. This lead him to being involved in 8 different movies during the next several years.
L.O.L. with Demi Moore, OZ The Great And Powerful and Low Winter Sun, the AMC mini series, just to name a few of the movies he was involved with. His name is on the credits of L.O.L.
Once the incentives were taken away, Fred wanted to continue his dream of sculpting and creating Art through fabrication, including designing and building. Using his extensive skillset gained throughout his career, compiling a team of extremely talented people. This winning combination provided the right solutions for his clients.
